Mom's Crochet

This is one of the bedspreads my Mom crocheted...it is an ivory color...a very tight pattern and heavy weight. It has a popcorn stitch.

And this is the table cloth....it is a slightly darker color than the ivory...I have a green tablecloth underneath...I also put a brown one under as well.

Paula, your mom did beautiful work! In my past life, when I delt in antiques, tablecloths, bedspreads and table runners were so sought after and hard to find, that when I was able to find them, they fetched a great deal of dollars. (be gentle with them)

My parents had many fine linens and things, but nothing like these..

Thank You for sharing the beauty with us ♥

Paula, what beautiful work! You are lucky to have them. My Grandma and Aunts crocheted tablecloths and knitted. I have one afghan. I only learned the chain stich!

Wow PAULA!!! Your MOM was one talented Lady. I can hardly believe you said you put them in the washer and dryer!!! I know you were careful but these heirlooms are in incredible shape and I thought to myself museum pieces...
Thank you for posting pictures of them...this is a wealth that can not be measured in dollars. God Bless your Mom's soul.
